Hey everyone. So i'm having this vibration issue in my 2005 C240 4matic, only has 55k miles on it, very well taken care of and all sudden i'm feeling this vibration when the car is on and i put it on drive/reverse, completely goes away on neutral, and also when i'm driving. It comes back only when i'm at a complete stop with foot on brake and car in D or R. This is what i've done so far:

1. Changed motor mounts
2. Changed transmission mounts
3. Changed air filters
4. Changed all 12 sparkplugs and coils.

Vibration is still there and can't figure out what the issue is. Any guidance would be really appreciate it. I really enjoy fixing these myself but i ran into a wall with this one and i know someone who had a similar issue might be able to help me out.
p.s. If it helps, i feel the vibration mainly on the steering wheel and little bit in the seat.

i have not, there seems to be a very small leak from around the transmission pan, so i might have to do that, i did change the transmission mount which seemed about to go out. Also i changed to OEM motor mounts and the vibration got much better but still there, i also found out my passenger side CV axel/joint is bad or at least boot has been broken for a while. i ordered one to see if that will fix it

from what you describe i would say motor or trans mount .but since they are new ??? .another possibility is a problem with one front axle shaft .a bad motor mount will do it in forward or reverse depending where the bad mount is .if you look at engine , you will see when you shift in drive the engine will lean one way , and the other in reverse .you could look and make sure nothind hit , while in gear .i wonder if you lift the whole car so wheels are off ground do the shifting test with hand brake off , so no load .

it's funny you mention this, i did look under the car and noticed my passenger side CV Axel/joint is bad, boot is broken and leaked all fluid out, not sure if that will cause the vibration, but someone mentioned to return aftermarket motor mounts and get OEM ones and i did and it seems to have lessoned the vibration but still there (i'm not sure if some vibration is ok maybe now i'm more away of it and think it's shouldn't be there haha) but at least i have new motors and tran mounts and i ordered the CV axel so after changing that i will see if that helped even more. i'll update once that's done
