this is still an issue, my father in-law has the car and we've replaced the battery sugested in other posts. Any other sugestions?

I took mine to the shop for the same reason, in reality the sound comes from the driver seat (back rest) and the mechanic says is a belt sensor, the description on the bill says:
SRS LIGHT ON AT TIME, SDS TEST DONE, CODE:B1211 SIGNAL FOR COMPONENT A60 FAULTY ($322.00)
That is a quote for parts and labor. I have not order the work.

You need to get the car scanned, otherwise, you're shooting in the dark...

Anyway, yes! SDS scan is the way to go...
