Can I get some help figuring out what color the interior is called and an idea what its worh please?

I was told its Henna red Tex. Its kind of a brownish red/orange color but I wouldn't call it red [unless thats what its called].

Okay ~ its got 205,000 miles, 4 speed manual trans, no sunroof, wind up windows and complete but non working A/C

Upgraded CD player and near new tires and a surf rack.

I've driven it a few hundred miles and it starts, runs, drives and handles real well. It really does zip along, unlike other 240's I've driven. I love these W123's but its too small.

In good solid condition southern car with some paint/body work blended down the pass side years ago from an accident [was told it was a side scrape] and little rust. Looks good and plenty of compliments.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks but I already tried that and nothing comes up.

Oh great, I just realized the SC DMV issued my title with 3 VIN characters missing [the WDB]. That ought to be a fun trip back to the DMV. This is not the first time they've made a mistake either and they always try to blame the customer!

I did get the VIN off the car w/ all 17 characters and it shows on the Russian site that its Anthracite interior ~ What????

Based on those photos it is a beautiful car. Just off-the-cuff I'd say it's worth $2k range, definitely no more than 3k, assuming some rust and a few minor tears on the interior.

I like roof-racks on the w123, although some purists might laugh me out of the room for saying so.

Well the DMV trip wasn't so bad. The original FL title was missing the WDB at the beginning of the VIN so SC DMV said to contact FL DMV and get a letter stating it was a clerical mistake. I figured it would be a real pain but the guy at FL DMV said he can see the whole VIN#, its just that their system doesn't allow 17 charcters for this model year. Anyway, he's faxing the letter and that should be the end of that issue.

After some online searching I believe it is Henna Red Tex. There's a 300D for sale with photos which indicate it as that color and by definition Henna Red is a brick red-orange color which it is.

I bought this car non running. It was just a clogged fuel filter. I replaced both, primed it and it started right up and hasn't skipped a beat.

Its a nice car for what it is but its not perfect. My son [9 years old] wants me to keep it for his 1st car but............

Thanks guys!

PS ~ I wish I had taken photos when we used it to haul some lumber on top from Lowe's and with the old pop up tent trailer converted to a utility trailer hooked on the back to haul old buliding materials to the dump. I tell you, it drew looks and remarks on both occassions :)

When it is, you'll see it on eBay (or the proper forum here) :)

I have a guy that offered to trade a Jeep so I may go that route.

Well I had to use the trailer today to haul some stuff again so I snapped a photo :)

I actually had a guy passing me take a photo with his camera phone and gave me a thumbs up

Its actually cold here today [49 degrees]. Take note of the smoke coming out of the chimney in the background. I had the fireplace going last night, it was around 30-32 degrees. I'm from PA, I left there in '96 for a warmer climate and I'm not going back :)

The trailer is/was an old '68 Apache pop up camper, the 240D is an '82

I don't mind you asking, I actually mentioned the price I paid for it when I first posted but edited it out afterwards. I'll PM you that info.
