Would a 2011 ML550 have adaptive cruise control ???? The reason I ask is this....When I set my cruise control @ 90 km and come up to another vehicle, I have to brake to slow down...How does this work...Am I setting it wrong ???? My vehicle mentions distronic, but I don't have the turnwheeel on my cruise stalk .....

what do you mean your "vehicle mentions distronic"? You mean it's reviewed in the owner's manual? It's in every owner's manual.
If you don't have the "wheel" you don't have distronic...
I have Manual Distronic in both my ML's. Push Cruse Control lever down and vehicle slows down to speed of slower vehicle. You don't have to hit brakes unless you are approaching the front vehicle at a fast rate.
