Haven't seen any posts on a electronic signal amplifier, I have one on a CLK 430 and was wondering who here has one?
The difference in performance is huge. It allows the engine to use instant throttle inputs. The ironic thing is it just allows you to all the engine has instead of the "challenged" rubber band feeling in the throttle. If you don't know what does you need to. It takes less than 30 seconds for a twelve year to install and it's also linear.

My ML500's throttle response is too fast. I wish I could slow it down.
The Sprintbooster was a hot topic many years ago but have not seen it discussed for some time now.

Well My experience with my 430 was perfect. Even my wife thinks it is better with the Sprintbooster.
It really didn't make the throttle response any touchier. Just a much stronger and harder response. If all works out I'll start off at square one and post honset to god #'s from an Iphone app showing before and after and all of the 0-60 etc...
Just wanted to know if I'm the guinea pig

Lots of folks over in the SLK (R170) forum use it. For me personally, I don't see a need on an ML.

I've had one on two E55's and they are fantastic.
Well isn't this a co inky dink! Hi Shaun.
Did you get an ML? We looked at Land Rover HSE supercharged, and an X5 but always came back to an ML. Much better fit and finish.
Now I need to add some discreet mojo. I know how to make it as fun to drive as a true european car should. I like a 'quick', agile drive that matchs the refinements of a Benz. I realize its a SUV but hey, I like to 'drive' my cars and its always better in a car thats massaged to respond better

Ive actually just bought one for a CLK430 2001, awaiting delivery.

Hope it works coz i paid $270 for it!!!

Also bought a pair of K&N air filters and some new spark plugs so should see a noticable difference.

Bit worried how to install it though... GATHOE do u have any instruction or screenshots?

You must like "snake oil" also!

Leave it a Corvette owner to not understand electronics. I can poke fun at you because I owned one. If you don't understand, accept the fact my CLK 430 blew my C5 6spd manual out of the water. I sold my C5 and enjoy the HELL outah' our CLK 430 with a Sprintbooster. End of story.

Sprint boosters are no snake oil, reading the for and against arguments don't really count on this subject.
Any doubters should just fit one and they will never take it off!

It took me less than thirty seconds. Super easy. All you have to do is undo the Input connector plug on the electronic throttle controller. Plug in the Sprintbooster (which only fits one way) and start the car. Try YouTube : Mercedes sprinbooster (install)

Like Shaun said. You won't understand how much it helps until you use one. I'd wouldn't drive without one now
