I'm working on adjusting the valves in my 1984 300SD, aka Buzz. Did the first five valves, no problems. Now on the 6th valve (second one on the 3rd cylinder), I cannot get the locking nut to disengage from the adjusting nut. I've applied pretty good torque to the locking nut while holding the adjusting nut in place, but I don't want to tear anything up. Any thoughts, hints, or ideas appreciated!
