So, today I went to look at prospective car to buy, a '97 C200 Manual.
The car wasn't in too good shape, overpriced, and the gearbox was dripping oil.
According to the owner, the Thrust Bearing is shot, and he will replace that.
Now, would an Unserviceable Thrust Bearing cause and transmission oil leak, and would a replacement fix that?
Another issue I had: with the wheel at the stops, it makes a grinding noise coming from the engine bay. Is that normal on the Power Steering?
(At least one good thing on that car: The MAF has been replaced)
