Anybody have any idea when it comes to finding exact paint colour? It does not mention it in the log book as it is suposed to and it is not on any plate around the the van. 1999 112cdi dark blue.

Run a VIN number check, it should give you the paint colors code.

WARNING! If you get a paint colour from the VIN you will get the paint as it was when the van was new. your vito paintwork is probably faded. A half decent body shop will have thier own colour matching facilities and should be able to make you a pot that exactly matches your van (that's what I did!)

That's right. Over the years paint will start to fade due to the sun rays.

i need to code mine to should i t cut and polish it before someone sees it to colour match???

Guys a great way to colour match is to remove the fuel flap and take it to a paint shop. They will match it exactly.
